Learn how to make expressive masks in neoprene
Alyssa Ravenwood is an award winning mask designer whose masks have been
seen in performances in the USA, Canada, Asia, and Europe.

In Los Angeles CA

Neoprene Mask Making Workshop:
Learn sculpting, mold making, casting, and painting techniques.
You will leave class with a neoprene mask and a plaster mask mold.
Small class size allows for individual direction.

You will learn:
* sculpting in clay
* how to sculpt an expressive face
* plaster mold making techniques
* casting with neoprene rubber
* trimming and sanding neoprene
* fitting a mask to a person's face
* making an adjustable elastic strap
* painting techniques

Evening Class Schedule:
Monday, August 11 - Friday, August 15
7:00-10:00 p.m.

Location:
The Brewery Arts Complex in downtown Los Angeles, CA.

Cost:
$250 tuition + $40 materials.

A $140 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your place in class.
This deposit goes towards your tuition.
Class size is limited, register early to reserve space.

About the Instructor:
Alyssa Ravenwood was awarded the Portland Drammy Award for Outstanding
Achievement in Mask Design and is a two time winner of the Best Performance
Mask Award at the Ink People Maskibition. She has taught mask making and
mask performance workshops at theatres and Universities across the US.
